Wout Kemkens
Wout Kemkens founded as guitarist and singer in 2009 the blues-rock band Shaking Godspeed. His band played at Noorderslag, Paaspop, Incubate and the Zwarte Cross and signed a booking contract with SOZ Concerts. The record Awe (MusicFromNL) received the Best album of 2010 – Award.
In early 2011 Shaking Godspeed won a gig at the Sziget Festival in Budapest. After several tours through the Netherlands, Spain, Germany and France and shows with Deep Purple and Wolfmother, the band released their second album Hooray in February 2012.
For this occasion Wout Kemkens, Ries Doms and Jarno van Es constitute a trio. They compose and play the title song Desire and other musical themes.
